Research Positions

We are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join our lab as Doctoral (PhD) and Graduate (MSc) students. Interested undergraduate and graduate students from fields related to computer science, mathematics, biomedical engineering are welcome to get in touch.

To be a good fit for our lab, you need to share our passion for imaging based computer aided diagnosis. You should be able to think independently but also enjoy collaborating. A good team spirit and excellent communication skills are mandatory.

Minimum requirements: Excellent knowledge of programming languages (C / C ++, Java, Python, Matlab, etc.), ability to use programming environments and APIs.

Preference factors: R&D experience in or knowledge of at least one of the fields – Image Analysis, Computer Vision or Machine Learning.

Successful candidates will work in a highly interdisciplinary and world class research environment. Research will primarily be based at IIT Ropar. However, international collaborations / research stays and conference visits are encouraged and will be supported.

Summer Internships

We encourage undergraduates students with technically strong knowledge of computer science to join our research team. We always have exciting projects to work on! We are most interested in highly motivated and independent students who can commit to a full semester of research in the lab.

Successful candidates will be trained in the lab, will work closely with graduate students and will be expected to develop their own independent research projects. Students are expected to attend lab meetings, read scientific literature and present their research at meetings.
