The conference will take place in the beautiful campus of IIT Ropar. The temperatures are pleasant during the evenings and nights (around 26), but the daytime temperature may go up to 38 degrees. The city of chandigarh is 40 KM from the campus. Chandigarh is designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect Le Corbusier. It is considered one of India's best modern architectural experiments in the 20th century. Chandigarh has an international airport. It is around 200 KM away from New Delhi airport (IGI Airport), conncted by a national highway.

Rupnagar, also known as Ropar, is a city and a municipal council located in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated on the banks of the Sutlej River and is approximately 50 kilometers away from the city of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana.

Rupnagar has a rich historical significance as it was the site of an ancient Indus Valley Civilization settlement, which is believed to have existed around 2500 BC. The city has also been mentioned in the epic Ramayana as the site where Lord Ram and his brother Lakshman crossed the Sutlej River during their exile. Apart from its historical importance, Rupnagar is also known for its scenic beauty, with the Sutlej River and the Shivalik Hills adding to its natural charm.

Chandigarh has it own International airport. For local train reservation in India, use the following website: https://www.irctc.co.in/nget/train-search For bus booking, you can use Redbus, Punjab Roadways, or Hyrana Roadways. Hyrana Roadways offers a direct bus from New Delhi airport to Chandigarh. By personal car, it takes around 4 hours from Delhi to Chandigarh. There are buses from Chandigarh to Rupnagar every 10 minutes from ISBT Sector 43. You may get down at the New Bus Stand Ropar. From there you can book an auto to IIT Ropar. You can also book OLA/UBER intercity from chandigarh to directly IIT Ropar. Autos are mostly available from Ropar bus stand as well as Ropar Railway station. We will also try to arrange pickup (morning) and drop off (evening) to local hotels in Ropar.

There are a number of hotels in Ropar city. If you preser to stay on campus, we may try to book hostel rooms for you. Guest house Accommodation is not available. Following accommodation possibilities are available on paid bases to attend ICA 23 conference:

1. Student hostel accommodation (In campus, basic facility, twin sharing rooms with shared bathroom, Ample availability) - Approx Rs 300 per day. Food charges are extra, and would be available in mess at pay and eat basis.
2. IIT Ropar Guesthouse (In campus, decent facility, twin sharing rooms with attached bathroom, limited availability) - Approx Rs 1200 per day. Food charges are extra, and would be available in guest house at pay and eat basis.
3. Hotels in Ropar city (Park Regency, HMT, etc) - Approx Rs 1500 - Rs 2000 per day. You need to book yourself.
